MEETINGS & LEADERSHIP

The Golden Rule states that we should treat other people the way we want to be treated. We cannot control how other people act but we must practice what we know to be correct behavior.

We won't tolerate any misbehaviour by members on the Vaughn & Friends Alumni Association, Inc. website, Facebook page, and telephone calls made to Vaughn members. The result may be your removal from the association because of inappropriate behavior. Please read our meetings rules below.

MEETINGS Rules

  • All cell phones must be turned off
  • Only one person may talk at one time.
  • While meeting is being conducted, please listen, don't talk.
  • Remember that you are adults and as such you are expected to behave like adults.
  • If you have a problem with another member during a meeting, move to another seat and report it to an advisor when the meeting is over.
  • You do not need to ask permission to go to the bathroom but you need to return as quickly as possible.
  • Show concern for all members because they may be having a bad day. You could be the best thing that happened to them that day.
  • If you run into someone who attended high school with you outside of the meeting place, invite them to join us. Ask them for an e-mail address or telephone number so that we can contact them.
  • Participate in the meetings. This is your organization. It is up to you to make it something you love and of which you are proud.
